As an Associate Process Engineer, you will help maintain stable production while improving the processes and systems behind the manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients. You will turn production data into practical insights, support colleagues when challenges arise and contribute to improvements in productivity and simplicity. The position is a temporary, one-year maternity cover.
You combine scientific knowledge with a structured approach to problem-solving. You can analyse complex information, communicate your conclusions clearly and collaborate with colleagues across different professional backgrounds.
Essential qualifications include:
Experience from pharmaceutical manufacturing or another highly regulated industry would be useful, but is not essential. Knowledge of fermentation, data analysis, process systems or large-scale production would also be an advantage. Written and spoken Danish is useful, but not required.
In this role, you will:
You will join a team of approximately 15 process engineers and scientists in Kalundborg. The team supports production and process optimisation through advanced data analysis, process monitoring and close dialogue with key stakeholders.
You will work alongside operators, technicians, scientists and other production colleagues. Together, you will translate data and scientific understanding into recommendations that support reliable manufacturing and continuous improvement. Collaboration and knowledge-sharing are central to the way the team approaches production challenges.

The positions are based on-site in Kalundborg. Occasional home-working days may be arranged, although the work during the coming year is expected to be predominantly on-site.
Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from DKK 499,600–734,400, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
