Job Description

A great company with an outstanding culture, strong values, and excellent career potential is looking for a Process Engineer who is early in their career and wants a place where they can learn, grow, and build a long-term career.

You'll join a well-supported engineering team where you'll be given the resources and freedom to take ownership of projects, solve problems, and make a measurable impact on manufacturing. This isn't a role where you'll spend your entire day troubleshooting on the production floor. You'll manage projects, analyze processes and data, and work across engineering and manufacturing to find better ways of doing things.

Here's what you'll be doing—and what they're asking you to bring.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage both small and larger process improvement and manufacturing projects from planning through implementation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, material utilization, productivity, and lead times.
  • Develop project priorities, schedules, cost estimates, and implementation plans.
  • Use data to identify manufacturing inefficiencies and develop long-term solutions.
  • Evaluate materials and manufacturing processes to determine where improvements can be made.
  • Work with manufacturing, controls engineering, tooling, product development, IT, and other teams to implement improvements.
  • Help determine what existing equipment and machines can do better and where changes could improve performance.
  • Document and standardize successful process improvements.
  • As you learn the operation, become more involved in manufacturing-floor support and process troubleshooting.

What We're Asking You to Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastics, or a related technical field.
  • Ideally 1–4 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, project engineering, continuous improvement, or a similar manufacturing role.
  • Experience working in or around a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong project management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work across departments and bring people together toward a common goal.
  • An interest in learning manufacturing processes and developing deeper technical expertise.
  • The initiative to take ownership of projects and work with a high degree of independence.

Working knowledge of plastics manufacturing is required. Experience may come from thermoforming, injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, polymers/materials, tooling, automation, or process controls.

Candidates with 4 + years of experience may be considered at compensation up to $100,000.
