The Aerospace Process Engineer is responsible for the process design, development, control, and continuous improvement of manufacturing and assembly processes used in the production of aerospace components, sub assemblies, and systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all processes meet stringent safety, quality, regulatory, and cost requirements characteristic of the aerospace industry. The engineer works closely with cross-functional teams including NPD, quality assurance, supply chain, production, and maintenance, driving excellence across the product lifecycle - from concept and New Product Introduction (NPI) to full-rate production and sustainment. Requirements Skills set / Roles and responsibilities Ability to interpret Drawing and customer specification and flow down to shop floor GD&T (Geometric Dimensions & Tolerance) Familiarity with aerospace standards (AS9100, NADCAP) Preparation of APQP documents like balloon drawing , process flow chart , stage drawing , control plan , FMEA , work instruction Work experience in Auto CAD and CATIA ( Modeling and Drafting) Experience in Configuration management , ECN preparation , revision change handling Experience working in SAP for creation of Bill of material and process routing Experience working in the Aerospace domain, machining and assembly Ability to identify gaps or missing data in drawing Fixture design , customer portal handling , Knowledge of QMS will be an added advantage
