The Process Engineer (Part Owner) serves as the primary technical authority and manufacturing lifecycle manager for a portfolio of aerospace investment cast parts. Unlike process-specific engineers, the Part Owner has a comprehensive, part-specific focus, acting as the technical bridge between customer quality specifications and our manufacturing floor. This role is responsible for interpreting metallurgical and process specifications, managing the qualification (PPAP/FAI) process, maintaining part-specific documentation, and driving stable production yields. The Part Owner collaborates directly with the various manufacturing process owners (Ceramic Core, Shell, Foundry, etc.), quality engineers, and other production support specialists to engineer the optimal manufacturing path, ensuring the final component conforms entirely to customer quality and metallurgical expectations. This role is located on-site at our Oxford, Alabama, aerospace investment casting facility. (Note: Dimensional and geometric compliance is owned separately by the Product Engineer).
