  • Develop, evaluate, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Analyze production performance and identify opportunities for process improvement using engineering methodologies.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and waste elimination programs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for process-related issues.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure stable and efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Develop process documentation, work instructions, and engineering reports.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), process validation, tooling improvement, and manufacturing capability enhancement.
  • Monitor key manufacturing metrics such as OEE, cycle time, yield, and process capability to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other related Engineering disciplines.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Tooling Engineering, or related manufacturing functions.
  • Experience in high-volume discrete manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience in printing, inkjet technology, automation, or precision manufacturing will be an advantage.

Technical Competencies

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process development, and process optimization.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, and Waste Elimination.
  • Good knowledge of OEE, Cycle Time, Yield Improvement, Capacity Planning, Line Balancing, and Process Capability.
  • Familiar with Root Cause Analysis, DOE, 8D, FMEA, PDCA, SPC, and other structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and 2D/3D CAD models.
  • Good understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, tooling, jigs & fixtures, and basic industrial automation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, for engineering analysis and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Direct Inkjet Printing (DIJ), Pad Printing, surface finishing, or other precision printing technologies is an advantage.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other engineering data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing dashboards, automated reporting, or engineering digitalization projects.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems, industrial sensors, robotics, machine connectivity, or Industry 4.0 technologies.
