Job Description

Responsibilities:

    • Professional training of machine setters, department supervisors, and skilled workers.
    • Supervision of injection molding and press machine operations.
    • Management, coordination, and documentation of trial productions.
    • Maintaining all documentation related to the area up to date.
    • Participation in root cause analysis in case of high scrap rates; application of LEAN methodologies (FQA, LPMS, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.).
    • Preparation and execution of tasks assigned by supervisors (e.g., calculations, bills of materials, technological instructions, etc.).
    • Analysis of manufacturing technology issues and daily technical problem-solving.
    • Close cooperation with employees across departments.
    • Monitoring machine conditions, commissioning new machines, tool management and coordination.
    • Supporting the organization of preventive maintenance for injection molds.
    • Analyzing unexpected mold failures, proposing repair solutions, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence, and reducing repair costs through improvements in technology and tool management.
    • Completing additional tasks assigned by supervisors as agreed.
    • Maintaining technical communication with LC sites in Austria and Germany (e.g., Process Engineering, Tool Shop Management).
    • Complying with all applicable occupational health, safety, and work regulations.
    • Responsible for working in accordance with the company’s Quality Policy and for fulfilling all responsibilities defined in quality, occupational safety, environmental management, and fire protection systems.
    • Responsible for developing and optimizing the appropriate technologies for injection molding and press machines, as well as production processes, ensuring continuous improvement of productivity.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field; or secondary technical qualification

SAP expertise

Knowledge of LEAN methodologies and computer skills.

Professional-Level English or German language skills preferred
