What You Will Do

• Build a foundational understanding of the glass production line, including applying root cause analysis to address performance and quality issues.
• Develop safe, compliant, and reliable operations through standard work procedures and statistical process control.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization and manage projects to implement solutions.
• Ownership of output quality, production performance metrics, and process waste.
• Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving events.
• Support Operations in a 24/7/365 manufacturing environment.
• Training production operators and working collaboratively with them to improve processes.
• Opportunity to develop expertise in float processes and equipment to support troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Build expertise in float processes and equipment to strengthen troubleshooting, reliability and process improvements.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Industrial/Operations, Materials Science, Chemistry).
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a cross-functional team (leading or supporting initiatives as needed).
• Experience operating, supporting, or improving manufacturing production processes.
• Ability to use statistical methods and data analysis to improve production processes.
• Experience working with customers to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
