Process Engineer
Grade C, local Nitra
Salary: 2060 eur - 2266 eur monthly, 0-15% yearly bonus, other benefits according JLR rule

THE OPPORTUNITY
ME BIW is currently involved with introduction of all new bodyshop projects and changes to existing facilities to support the JLR cycle plan. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of feasible, cost effective manufacturing solutions – From concept planning, through installation and into production, working closely with product Development Engineering and Plant to determine optimum solutions. The position will require travel to the engineering centres as well as placement at the manufacturing plants.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Abide to the ruling safety regulations at all times;
• Development, installation, commissioning and launch of vehicle body assembly process & manufacturing systems, working together with Joining, Automation, Tooling and Operations departments;
• Liaison with suppliers and key stakeholders from end-to-end project while leading his/her own area;
• Development and maturation of processes optimizing / complying with ergonomics, manpower planning & balancing;
• Deliver in each defined phase the business expectations in terms of quality;
• Lead and participate of multi-disciplinary teams in pursuit of the best technical solutions to the business;
• Produce and collate all the required documentation to comply with the JLR Standards and IATF 16949 (PFMEAs, Control Plans, Reaction Plans, GSPAS, Manuals)
WHAT YOU´LL NEED
• Ability to communicate in English (speaking, reading, writing) with native an non-native English speakers
• Proven experience as a process engineer, or similar position, launching new products in manufacturing environments;
• Proficiency with basic engineering softwares (AutoCAD and .dwg visualisers, CATIA and other 3D visualisers);
• Proficiency with creation and update of PFMEAs, Control Plans, Reaction Plans, Visual Management;
• Mastering manpower analysis, line balancing, capacity planning;
• Knowledge of tooling design, buy off, commissioning and integration;
• Understanding of ergonomic studies and its impacts;
• Understanding of automation principles and its applications in automated facilities;
• Basic understanding of joining technologies and its applications;
• Basic understanding of body dimensional and its impacts throughout process maturation;
