Responsible for the manufacturing process of ES production lines(FM, EDI & UF)
Develop and optimize the manufacturing process, to achieve good quality, lower cost, higher efficiency
Responsible for NPI-to-mass production transfer process
Support manufacturing process control and troubleshooting on a daily basis
Maintain and develop manufacturing process for various types of products, including spiral wound element, EDI and UF module
Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing, sales, marketing, and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS (environmental, health, and safety), production, quality and cost savings goals within schedule and budget
Utilize lean manufacturing, six sigma methods, ergonomic designs, ISO 9000 principles, and other engineering problem solving tools to resolve challenges and technical issues
Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed
Review, recommend, and implement changes to drawings and process documentation. Provide concept drawings, and equipment drawings if applicable
Assure that all engineering designs and technical data are complete and accurately documented to provide an accurate technical/historical base for future reference and to meet customer/end user requirements
Mastering SAP, MES and other digital tools to control the process
Comply with national/business EHS policy and regulations, implement EHS standard, procedures, etc.
Proactive participant site EHS activities, continuously improve EHS awareness
Other tasks assigned by the process manager.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Strong ownership and excellent team player
Critical thinking and systematic problem solving capability
Able to adapt to a fast changing environment
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Fluent English speaking and communication skills
Six Sigma training, and Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
Ability to work independently as well as in a cross functional team environment
Previous experience with Lean Manufacturing
Experience in water treatment industry
Knowledge and experience in writing work instructions per ISO 9000 requirements
Experience with using CAD/CAM
