Formosa Plastics Corporation, Texas, located in Point Comfort, Texas (jobsite), is looking for a full-time Process Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and 1 year related work experience. Job duties include designing and implementing hydrocarbon distillation system, simulating the static state of mass and energy balance for the distillation towers, designing and implementing hydraulic transportation system, calculating the hydraulic requirements for flare and cooling water system, designing and implementing heat exchanger, performing pressure safety valve recognition and sizing, designing and implementing wastewater, waste and sewage treatment system to remove the contaminants, developing process revamping to reduce water and energy consumption, designing and implementing the flare system, and preparing detailed specifications for the equipment.
