Process Engineer

Shaw Industries is looking for a Process Engineer to lead continuous improvement in the Twisting andHeatsetdepartments.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate must have a passion for continuous improvement and the desire and ability to lead internal teams to drive results.

• Build trusting relationships throughout the plant

• Lead Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma process and projects.

• Drive improvement in equipment reliability. LeadEITsas necessary.

• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with attention to detail.

• Proven ability to work on several projects simultaneously and under tight schedules.

• Knowledge of data collection and interpretation; Black Belt training preferred

• Experience in project management, associated principles, and tools are preferred.

• Tenacity toaccomplishtasks, follow-through, and meet deadlines.

• Analyze process and performance parameters to improve product efficiency and output.

• Manage the implementation of any process changes.

• Investigate processing and quality problems and implement data-driven solutions.

• Will act as the WasteChampion fordriving waste improvement projects within the facility.

• Provide engineering and troubleshooting support to all departments as needed.

• Perform all job duties using safe work methods.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Manager as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degreerequired; Engineering preferred

• Mustpossessgood organizational, computer, analytical, and leadership skills

• Prefer experience in yarn processes

• Prefer candidate with Six Sigma Black Belt

• Prefer candidate with mechanical aptitude

Work Shift
