Brook + Whittle, one of the fastest-growing, sustainable, printing solutions companies, is currently seeking a full- time Process Engineer!

The Process Engineer is responsible for improving manufacturing performance through the reduction of scrap, downtime, and variability while increasing throughput, reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). This role is embedded in operations and focuses on stabilizing and optimizing existing manufacturing processes to deliver consistent, cost-effective production

Essential Functions:

• Drive scrap, waste, and yield improvement initiatives across assigned production lines
• Improve uptime, throughput, and processing speed through data-driven analysis
• Lead root cause analysis for chronic downtime, quality losses, and performance gaps
• Develop, optimize, and maintain standard process settings, recipes, and run conditions
• Support changeover reduction and line balancing initiatives
• Partner with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and preventative maintenance effectiveness
• Establish and monitor process capability (Cp/Cpk) and control limits
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
• Support cost reduction initiatives tied to labor efficiency, materials, and yield
• Train operators and technicians on standard work and optimized process conditions
• Support audits and compliance requirements related to manufacturing processes All other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, or related field).
• Strong data analysis and root cause problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
• Ability to work directly on the production floor in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Education and Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
• Experience in printing, packaging, converting, or high-speed manufacturing.
• Experience supporting regulated or customer-audited environments.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week (1 hour lunch break per day). Occasional work outside of these hours may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:

Up to 25% travel is expected for this position.
