Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Polytech Co., Ltd is currently seeking applicants for a Process Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste and cost, and ensure product quality.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Process Engineer You will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste and cost, and ensure product quality. Key responsibilities include:

• To develop and implement production processes in line with product specifications and quality standards.
• To identify and analyze process issues and recommend improvements to increase Yield, reduce MRB and improve products quality
• To create and maintain production documentation, such as standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• To collaborate with other departments, such as Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Research and Development, to ensure smooth production processes.
• Driving Automation and Digital Transformation projects, playing critical role in identifying, designing, and implementing automation solutions that streamline operations, reduce manual intervention, and enhance process reliability.
• To monitor and evaluate production processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• To perform engineering experiments to qualify new processes, raw materials and equipment.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry / Materials Engineering or related field - mandatory
• 2+ years of experience in process engineering or related field - advantage
• Experience with process simulations and modeling software - advantage
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in spoken and written Japanese “– an advantage”
• Good written and verbal English skills – an advantage

職務内容

プロセスエンジニアとして、生産プロセスの設計、評価、最適化を行い、効率性の向上、無駄とコストの削減、製品品質の確保を担当していただきます。主な職務内容は以下のとおりです。

• 製品仕様および品質基準に沿った生産プロセスを開発・実施する。
• プロセス上の問題点を特定・分析し、歩留まり向上、MRB削減、製品品質向上のための改善策を提案する。
• 標準作業手順書や作業指示書などの生産関連文書を作成および維持する。
• 製造、品質保証、研究開発などの他部門と連携し、円滑な生産プロセスを確保する。
• 自動化およびデジタルトランスフォーメーションプロジェクトを推進し、業務の効率化、手作業の削減、プロセスの信頼性向上を実現する自動化ソリューションの特定、設計、実装において重要な役割を果たす。
• 生産プロセスを監視・評価し、継続的な改善の機会を特定する。
• 新しいプロセス、原材料、および機器の性能を検証するための工学的実験を実施する。

求める人材

下記の要件をお持ちの方を探しています。

• 化学／材料工学または関連分野の学士号 - 必須です。
• プロセスエンジニアリングまたは関連分野での2年以上の経験 – 歓迎します。
• プロセスシミュレーションおよびモデリングソフトウェアの使用経験 – 歓迎します。
• 優れたコミュニケーション能力と協調性
• 単独でもチームの一員としても働く能力
• 日本語の会話および筆記能力に優れていること– 歓迎します。
• 優れた英語の読み書き能力と会話能力 – 歓迎します
