Process Engineering Core Responsibilities
Provide technical support to the Production and Maintenance groups to solve problems related to quality, safety, and productivity.
Develop & execute plans for manufacturing cost reductions with respect to 5M efficiency, including the adaptation of new technologies into the production process.
Coordinate the implementation of new products and product engineering changes into mass production.
Establish, document, and maintain the PFMEA and Process Control Plan outlining product quality requirements, process setting conditions, and validation requirements within the product line of responsibility.
Make recommendations and provide justification for capital investments to be made in the area of responsibility for improvements in quality, safety and productivity.
Create specifications for equipment, jigs and processes
Conduct investigations into product quality issues, supporting root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Develop manufacturing equipment specifications for existing machine modifications and new line introductions.
Design new and revised processes to meet customer and internal requirements for quality, cost, delivery, and environment.
Coordinate and manage project schedules for equipment modifications and installations, including management of external equipment suppliers and contractors.
Support the specification, development, runoff, and approval process for new equipment or new production lines.
Occasional travel (domestic and international) may be required to meet the requirements of this position
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
2+ years in Manufacturing Engineering in and Engineering role.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Experience leading projects and CFT's
Proven development of processes, product and equipment from concept to implementation
Analytical & troubleshooting skills.
Working knowledge of MS Office products (including Excel, Word, Power Point, & Access) is a must! Other knowledge requirements include robotics programming, PLC programming, AutoCAD, & SolidWorks.
Experience in successful development of multiple new product launches preferred
Work experience in manufacturing operations preferred (Automation, Automated vision inspection, Soldering, TIG Welding, or Laser Welding)

Annual Salary: $83,000 - $100,000
