Project:

• LEAS, TiN THK NU/Conformality improvement

What you will be working on

• Based on blanket study, process characterization and relationship to deposition conditions
• Understand the fundamentals of Plasma-based deposition and the interaction between HW and process (plasma power, pressure, etc.) through DOE evaluation
• Training in XPS, AFM, XRR, Ellipsometry, Nanoindentation fundamentals and characterization analysis
• Conduct regular SPC monitoring & improve process stability
• Understand sensitive/key parameters and reflect to HW start up procedure
• Present the key achievement in a large audience forum

What we are looking for

• Ph.D. student in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Plasma Engineering, or a related field with hands-on experience with plasma reactors
• Knowledge of fundamental principles of deposition and fundamental limits of thin film characterization
• Strong interest toward operating ASM chambers and developing process conditions based on mechanistic understanding
• Understands the importance of safety and working culture in Lab
• Comfortable in presenting and sharing results in a scientific and collaborative way
