Job Title: Process Development Engineer – BCDMOS Technology Development and Fabrication
Job Type: Contract 23 months
This role involves the Development of Fabrication Processes for the integration of Advanced Bipolar Transistors, 3V / 5V CMOS, High Voltage DMOS, and Passive Components in a single monolithic silicon solution to enable new product opportunities. The successful candidate will be a key part of a dynamic team that will provide the opportunity to broaden an extensive range of skills from: high-speed & high-voltage device physics, to device design & layout, to high volume manufacturing, to problem troubleshooting, to communication and presentations skills. Thus, providing a unique opportunity to bring a technology from concept to completion.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with Device Experts by contributing to the development and optimization of process flows that maintain device performance, optimise cycle time, and ensures product lifetime reliability.
Work with the Process Engineering Group to create and execute experiments that help to bring a fabrication process from concept to volume production.
Novel Device Development, TCAD Simulation and Cadence Layout
Electrically characterise and physically inspect fabricated silicon for continuous improvement.
Analysis and Communicate all Technical results across multiple teams.
Job Requirements:
A Degree in Engineering/Physics or Materials with Process Development Experience in a Silicon Fab environment.
Relevant areas of Experience:
Clean room environment for wafer-level processing (photolithography, etch, inspection, etc…),
Experience with Managing production and experimental lots through a multi-stage manufacturing flow,
Working Knowledge of CMOS, & Bipolar Device Operation,
Experience with Physical Analysis (Optical Inspection, SEM, etc…),
Experience with TCAD and Device Development
Experience with Electrical Analysis (Lab probe stations, ICCAP and LabView Software).
Attention to detail.
Ability to Analysis Inline Data and End of Line Data in terms of Process Manufacturability and Performance Trends
Ability to work as part of a team.
Able to multi-task across different process work centres.
Communication skills required with the emphasis being able to share technical knowledge.
