A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Support, develop, qualify a robust test method, including close collaboration with mechanical service group for tooling development.
• Support and execute incremental builds for new product development
• Help define one best way in the Work Instructions to support implementation and long-term operational use.
• Be a referent trainer for New Product and New Processes
• Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations. Sets initial layouts and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s). Conducts quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in high precision assembly environments
• Strong rigor for samples organisation and knowledge management
• Requires basic knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain operational procedures, systems, and tools gained through experience and/or relevant training, education, or certifications.
• Requires 1+ years of related experience, which may include a combination of practical experience and applicable training, education, or certification.
• No minimum education requirement.
