Responsible for leading the engineering design and technical execution of CAPEX projects in strict adherence, ensuring full compliance with Air Liquide’s technical standards, safety protocols, and IMS requirements from initial design through to successful commissioning.
- GP11 Workflow Execution: Lead the engineering design phase for CAPEX project in strict accordance with the GP11 workflow, ensuring all technical deliverables meet Air Liquide Group standards.
- Design Collaboration: Act as the primary technical interface to prepare the P&IDs, Plot Plans, and Equipment Datasheets (EDS), ensuring all designs comply with local regulations and internal GT/GD standards.
- Technical Vendor Management: Review and approve technical proposals from vendors (e.g., vaporizer or tank suppliers) to ensure equipment specifications align with project design basis and performance requirements.
- Construction & Installation Oversight: Conduct site visits to ensure that physical installation—including piping and equipment placement—is strictly compliant with the approved engineering design and safety protocols.
- Change Management : Lead the technical evaluation and documentation for Notice of Project Change(NPC), performing necessary risk assessments before implementing modifications.
- Safety & Quality Reviews (PSSR/RTOR): Support the Project team in conducting Pre-Start-up Safety Reviews (PSSR) and Ready To Operate Reviews (RTOR) to identify and clear technical blocking points before commissioning.
- Project Planning & Support: Assist in the early planning stages, including cost estimation for technical proposals and the development of the Project Design Basis to ensure safe and reliable project starts.
- Technical Mentorship & Leadership: Sharing "Lessons Learned" to build the PEG technical knowledge database.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize AI tools and advanced engineering methodologies to optimize design efficiency and reduce project lead times while maintaining 100% compliance with IMS requirements.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Process Engineering or Design within the gas/chemical industry. Must be proficient in engineering design tools (P&ID, 3D Piping/Layout) and possess practical experience in site construction coordination and industrial risk management (HAZOP/MOC).
