Job Description

The Position:

Location: North Melbourne (with flexibility for interstate travel)

Contract Type: 6-month Fixed-Term Contract / Consultancy

Drive a major transformation in subcontractor engagement for a leading construction group.

ASCOT GROUP, a dynamic player in the construction industry, is launching a strategic program to redesign and optimise how we procure, engage, manage, and partner with subcontractors across all service streams. We’re seeking an experienced Project Lead/Consultant to lead this initiative end-to-end, ensuring operational excellence and an outstanding subcontractor procurement experience.

ASCOT GROUP is a market leading building services company committed to providing value added solutions to clients across the Government, Aged Care & Retirement Living, Healthcare and Education sectors.

The Role:

  • Process Design & Optimisation: Redefine workflows for subcontractor onboarding, compliance, and performance management.
  • Experience Design: Create a seamless, positive engagement model for subcontractors across all touchpoints.
  • Procurement Transformation: Implement best-practice frameworks for contracts, pricing, and vendor management.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage platforms like Worx, AroFlo, and EstimateOne to streamline operations.
  • Change Leadership: Partner with executives, divisional leaders, and subcontractors to embed new ways of working.

About You:

  • Proven experience in procurement, subcontractor/vendor management, or construction operations.
  • Skilled in process improvement, systems integration, and change management.
  • Familiarity with construction tech platforms (AroFlo, EstimateOne, Worx).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
