he Blending Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance in blending systems and equipment of blending and Drumming activities. This role ensures optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of the blending lines, drumming, supporting production targets while ensuring product quality and safety compliance
Accountabilities :
1. Evaluate current blending/drumming systems and identify opportunities to improve throughput, reduce waste and minimize downtime.
2. Recommend and implement process automation, upgrades, or equipment replacements as needed.
3. Plan and implement efficient blending/drumming line layouts and workflows for blend product. 4. Work closely with planning and production and supportive teams to ensure oil availability to packing plant.
5. Troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate with the maintenance team for corrective actions.
6. Implement process controls and validation to maintain product integrity
7. Monitor critical control points in the drumming process (fill volume, CCP, OPRP, sealing integrity, labelling accuracy, etc)
8. Work closely with QA/QC teams to ensure blending/drumming processes comply with GMP, HACCP,HALAL, and customer quality standards.
9. Ensure all blending/drumming operations and machinery comply with health, safety and environment regulations.
10. Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures in coordination with HSE teams.
11. Develop SOP/SWI and train blending/drumming operators on operation, equipment safety and best practice.
12. Analyze blending/drumming line performance data (OEE, downtime rejects) and report on KPIs.
13. Participate in audits (internal,customer, or regulatory) and implement corrective actions.
14. Plan and optimize manpower based on daily production targets and shift schedule
15. Maintain technical documentation, machine manuals, change logs, and engineering drawing.
