Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely clearance of unreconciled items.
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules.
- Handle provision calculations during month-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during quarterly and annual audits.
- Ensure assigned KPIs are achieved within agreed timelines.
- Support month-end close activities, including working extended hours when required.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare reports and supporting schedules for management review.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain accuracy and compliance in financial records.
Person Specifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in Accounting, Audit, or Finance Operations
- GCE A/L qualification with a Finance background is Mandatory.
- Following a Finance/Accounting/Management degree or a professional qualification (CA / ACCA / CIMA / CMA / AAT, CPA) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end accounting processes.
- Strong computer literacy and MS Excel are Mandatory.
- Exposure to SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in English & excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work on month ends & thrive in a team-oriented environment.
