The Process Architect is responsible for designing, standardizing, and governing end-to-end business processes across the organization. This role ensures that processes are efficient, compliant, scalable, and aligned to enterprise optimization goals.
The Process Architect translates optimization strategy into clear, executable, and measurable process designs and establishes standards that support consistent execution across teams and platforms.
Design and document end-to-end processes across claims, enrollment, customer service, utilization management, operations, and finance.
Develop current-state and target-state process models using standard methodologies (e.g., BPMN).
Define process boundaries, handoffs, roles, controls, and decision points.
Establish enterprise process standards, modeling conventions, and documentation requirements.
Maintain a centralized process repository and architecture artifacts.
Ensure processes align with regulatory, contractual, and audit requirements.
Partner with Business Optimization Architects to translate optimization initiatives into process designs.
Support operational teams during implementation by clarifying process intent and design.
Provide guidance on process adoption, change impacts, and risk mitigation.
Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and control gaps.
Support process measurement by defining operational metrics and controls.
Incorporate feedback and performance results into ongoing process refinements.
Work closely with IT, data, compliance, and operations teams to ensure process designs are feasible and enforceable.
Support technology enablement efforts by defining business process requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
5–8+ years of experience in process design, process architecture, or operational excellence.
Experience working within healthcare, insurance, or TPA operations.
Proficiency with process modeling tools and methodologies (e.g., BPMN).
Strong documentation and facilitation skills.
Preferred Requirements:
Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement certification.
Experience supporting system implementations or automation initiatives.
Familiarity with healthcare compliance and audit requirements.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
Min to Max Range:
$67,600.00 - $127,000.00
