Job Description

Riwald Recycling is one of the leading companies in metal and electronics recycling in the Netherlands. With our innovative recycling facilities, we recover valuable raw materials for reuse in the industry. At our locations, we work as a team with dedicated colleagues to drive sustainability and efficiency.

For our headquarters in Almelo, we are looking for a full-time Project Manager for Processes, Applications, and Quality Management (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

Your Role


As Project Manager for Processes, Applications, and Quality Management, you will act as the key interface between operational business processes, digital solutions, and quality standards. You will lead the digitalization and automation of our processes, ensure compliance with quality requirements, and maintain a robust IT infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analyze, optimize, and digitalize business processes in production, logistics, and administration
  • Manage and implement process-related projects (e.g., IT solution rollouts, interface development, automation)
  • Support and further develop existing applications
  • Train and assist departments during the introduction of new systems and processes
  • Coordinate internal & external IT service providers and ensure smooth local IT operations
  • Ensure compliance with IT security, quality and corporate standards
  • Align with central group functions such as Group IT, Digital Transformation, Cyber Security, Data Governance and Quality Assurance

Your Profile

  • Degree in Business Informatics, Engineering, Business Administration with IT focus, or equivalent qualification
  • Initial professional experience in process optimization, IT project and quality management
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, data analysis, and interface management
  • Familiarity with digital tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, automation solutions)
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and hands-on mentality
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (German is a plus)
