We are seeking an experienced and strategic Process and Operations Excellence Manager - Indirect Sales Channel, to establish, standardize, and optimize the operational framework supporting distributor-based commercial models across Western Europe. This newly created role will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end governance, operational processes, and commercial infrastructure related to distributor agreements and channel operations. The position will focus on creating scalable and compliant frameworks, ensuring process consistency, enhancing visibility of contractual arrangements, and driving operational excellence across the region.

Working closely with Commercial, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Sales Operations, and Commercial Excellence teams, the successful candidate will build and maintain the processes, tools, repositories, reporting mechanisms, and governance models necessary to support effective distributor operations.

The role is highly cross-functional and project-oriented, requiring strong process design, change management, and analytical skills. It does not involve direct management of distributor relationships or commercial negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Design & Operational Excellence

  • Design and optimize distributor operational processes across Western Europe.
  • Develop standardized frameworks, procedures, and governance models for channel operations.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and process documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, transparency, and compliance.
  • Assess existing distributor-related practices and identify opportunities for standardization, simplification, and optimization.

Governance & Contract Administration

  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks for distributor agreements and commercial processes.
  • Manage contract repositories and ensure accurate documentation tracking.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Commercial teams on contract governance activities.
  • Monitor contract lifecycles, renewals, and compliance with key obligations.
  • Ensure documentation and operational practices align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics to provide visibility into distributor agreements and operational activities.
  • Generate insights and recommendations for Commercial Leadership and Channel Management teams.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze contract, commercial, and performance data, monitoring key operational metrics and providing timely reporting and insights.
  • Support decision-making through data-driven analysis and trend identification.

Performance Framework & KPI Management

  • Design and implement KPI frameworks to support monitoring of distributor performance following process implementation.
  • Develop methodologies, templates, and reporting tools for performance measurement.
  • Prepare analysis and recommendations for business review discussions conducted by Channel Managers and Commercial Leaders.
  • Track execution of improvement actions and monitor outcomes against targets.

Commercial Operations Support

  • Support the adoption of standardized channel management processes.
  • Coordinate distributor process documentation and operational information.
  • Maintain accurate contract, governance, and commercial records.
  • Provide operational support for channel-related projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor contract status and ensure process compliance.

Training & Change Management

  • Develop process documentation, tools, and training materials.
  • Deliver stakeholder training and capability-building programs.
  • Monitor implementation progress and drive process compliance

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Distributor Management, Commercial Excellence, Business Operations, Process Excellence, Governance, or Sales Channel Operations.
  • Experience designing and implementing business processes across multiple markets.
  • Proven success managing complex cross-functional projects and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Knowledge of contract governance, commercial operations, and distributor business models preferred.
  • Experience in Medical Device, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences industries preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, Life Sciences, Finance, Operations, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Process Excellence: strong ability to design, implement, and optimize business processes, including process mapping, operating models, and governance frameworks.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders, while effectively managing competing priorities through strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Governance & Compliance: Understanding of commercial contracts, governance principles, and compliance requirements. Ability to work effectively with Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams.
  • Data Analytics: Strong analytical capabilities and experience translating data into actionable business insights.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence and drive alignment across functions without direct authority that goes together with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Change Management: Experience driving adoption of new processes, systems, and operating models with the ability to develop training materials and support capability-building initiatives.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is 224 000,00 PLN annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits, discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
