The Role and Impact
Join our team as a Module Engineer, where you will play a vital role in enabling the mass production of advanced integrated circuits. In this role, you will own and optimize high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure precision, efficiency, and quality. The Assembly and Test Manufacturing (ATM) organization is an essential part of Intel's back-end manufacturing network, supporting Intel's IDM 2.0 strategy. ATM delivers differentiated solutions across a broad product portfolio, serving client, automotive, server, and connectivity segments. As part of this team, you'll contribute to Intel's success by driving manufacturing excellence and supporting the global transfer of cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Conduct tests and measurements to control critical dimensions and defectivity in manufacturing lines.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and cost optimization.
  • Drive high-volume manufacturing capacity while transferring technology to global sites.
  • Execute maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement activities for equipment and processes.
  • Develop systems to prevent excursions and identify discrepancies in equipment or material performance.
  • Manage equipment installation, conversion, and qualification during factory ramps, ensuring safety and schedule compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align process development with production goals.
  • - Facilitate technology transfers through training, audits, and ensuring consistency across sites.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 0-1 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, demonstrated through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training.
  • Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools such as JMP or SQL Pathfinder.
  • Fundamental knowledge of mechanical design, electrical circuitry, and equipment management.
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic environments while maintaining attention to detail and quality.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes, assembly equipment, and testing protocols.
  • Experience with design of experiments (DOE) principles and failure modes/effects analysis (FMEA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Knowledge of scripting tools like Python, SQL Pathfinder or Power BI is an added advantage.
