The Procedure Scheduler supports safe, timely, and efficient surgical care by coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures, serving as a key liaison between patients, clinical teams, and administrative staff. This role ensures accurate documentation, effective communication, and compliance with regulatory standards to optimize perioperative operations and patient experience. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.High school diploma or GED.At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with scheduling responsibilitiesBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required for office-based positions only (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field 2 or more years of experience in healthcare, with direct experience in surgical or procedural scheduling Certification in medical scheduling or related area
