
Baptist Health is looking for a Procedural Materials Associate to join our team in Lexington, KY!
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of procedural case pick and inventory management processes within surgical and cardiac cath lab environments. Responsibilities include daily execution of procedural case pick activities, emergent fulfillment of product needs during procedures, and perpetual inventory management initiatives.
Essential Duties:
Daily participation in procedural case pick activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Emergent fulfillment of product needs during Surgical or Cath Lab procedures.
Participating in procedural perpetual inventory management activities.
Daily stock put away and reconciliation of shipping discrepancies.
Performing daily cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.
Processing debits and credits in ERP system for accurate replenishment.
Stock rotation to mitigate product expiration and financial impact.
Checking outdates for expiring products and collaborating on disposition.
Inspecting items for sterile package integrity.
Monitoring and maintaining storeroom cleanliness and organization.
Adhering to accreditation compliance regulations.
Collaborating with Procedural Materials Supervisor on inventory matters.
Communicating effectively with physicians and clinical staff during procedures.
Qualifications:
High School/GED
1-2 years’ experience in healthcare materials environment preferred.
5 days a week; 7:00am-3:30pm
Some weekends and Holidays required
