Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define Defect Management Strategy for System, SW and HW development depending on the scope of the project.
  • Ensure ASPICE business practices are followed for SUP9.
  • Deploying and Practising Defect Management Strategy in project.
  • Create Templates for Defect management workflow for the project.
  • Define Defect scope for release in conjunction with SYPL, SWDL, SYDL and HWDL.
  • Drive engagement and outcome via Defect Governance Board.
  • Monitor the progress of Defects based on scope.
  • Communicate the status of Defects as per the strategy to different stakeholders.
  • Responsible for demonstrating Defect management practices of the project in ASPICE audits
  • Collaborate with Process and Quality Team to ensure best practices are adopted

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/ master’s degree and major in power electrification and electronics or automation domain.
  • Experience in different stages and streams of product development.
  • Experience in Application and Design in system / Controls/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Good understanding of ASPICE standards and Business Practices.
  • Good understanding of SW development life cycle.
  • Excellent communication skills and drive for results.
  • Good team player and collaborator.
  • Experience in change management tools like Jira.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.

Preferred Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Power electrification and electronics or automation development experience.
  • Working experience with ASPICE Process.
  • Exposure to variety of software development processes like Waterfall & Agile methodologies.
  • Exposure to problem resolution techniques like 8D, 5why analysis.
  • Experience interacting with customer.
