Job Description

[What the role is]

Air Traffic Control Officers (ATCOs) in CAAS play a critical role in maintaining Singapore's position as a leading international air hub. This unique profession requires drive and passion with a steadfast commitment to excellence.

[What you will be working on]

As a member of a specialised team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of air traffic not only at Changi and Seletar Airports, but as well as throughout Singapore’s bustling airspace. Leveraging state-of-the-art technology, you will direct air traffic with a keen focus on safety and operational efficiency.

• Tertiary qualifications
• Possess a keen interest in contributing to the nation’s aviation sector
• Composed and able to respond decisively to dynamic situations in an operational environment
• Possess strong communication skills, and able to work effectively with stakeholders
• Demonstrate good problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task under pressure
• Medically fit to fulfil requirements of the role

Please note that the selection process will commence from March 2026. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a comprehensive selection assessment which may take 3 to 4 months. A successful candidate may be expected to go through the following:

Up to three rounds of interviews (conducted online and in-person); Up to two rounds of aptitude and cognitive tests; and Class 3 medical assessment.

The application window will close by early July 2026. The upcoming round of training for successful candidates is scheduled to commence in August/September 2026.

Successful candidates will undergo an intensive training programme to acquire the essential competencies, following which they will be obligated to fulfil a 2-year training bond.
