The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program at Cleveland Clinic’s Akron General Medical Center is staffed by specially trained nurses who care for individuals who have experienced or witnessed any type of violence, including sexual assault, child abuse, interpersonal violence, elder abuse or human trafficking. After living through these events, many patients need additional support and encouragement as they cope with the lingering effects of trauma. As an RN on this team, you will provide this essential service, ensuring each person feels safe, comfortable, valued and understood throughout the entire documentation, investigation and treatment process.
How You’ll Benefit
A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) variable shifts, including on-call requirements. Must work 48 hours within a six-week period, one 12-hour weekend per month, and 1 12-hour holiday per year.
