
Saint Luke’s in Kansas City is seeking a BC/BE PRN OB/GYN to join our Women’s Health Division. This role provides inpatient and outpatient coverage on an as-needed basis at locations throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area.
About the position
In this PRN role, the OB/GYN will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population across four clinic locations and two hospitals within the Kansas City metropolitan area
Shift schedules vary each month according to department needs and are planned in partnership with leadership; shifts may include days, nights, and weekends
Outpatient coverage may be scheduled at any of our four ambulatory OB/GYN clinics throughout the Kansas City metro area, with 8‑hour clinic shifts and a full‑scope practice seeing approximately 16–20 patients daily
Inpatient coverage consists of 15‑hour weeknight call shifts and 24‑hour weekend call shifts, providing care in labor and delivery and the emergency department at Saint Luke’s North Hospital–Barry Road and Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, Missouri
Inpatient responsibilities include managing assigned and unassigned patients, emergent gynecologic deliveries, and emergency department consults
Strong sub-specialty support including MFM, anesthesia, neonatologist, GYN/ONC, and URO/GYN
Fully integrated Epic EMR
The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical and surgical capabilities, a dedication to delivering compassionate, evidence‑based care to women throughout their lifespan, exceptional communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to function independently.
Requirements: BC/BE in OB/GYN with eligibility for licensure in MO and KS
