Job Description

About this role:  

As a PRN physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.  

  • On an as-needed basis, you will provide care through restricted OB/GYN hospitalist shifts at St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana.

  • You will provide care to patients in L&D and the ED that have obstetric or gynecology needs.

  • Anesthesia in house and available 24/7

  • MFM clinic onsite and available 24/7 for telehealth consult.  

  • St Vincent is a large regional referral center, that welcomes an average of 1,800 deliveries annually in our award winning Labor & Delivery unit. With a level III NICU, we provide care to patients at all levels of acuity & lengths of gestation. We are a designated Baby-Friendly Hospital, ranking in the top 3% of hospitals for Obstetrics and top 1% for Women's Services by Women’s Choice Awards Best Hospitals 2025. We are excited to be relocating to a newly built hospital facility in 2029.

  • OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts are 12-hours in length at a pay rate of $2,010.00 If desired, they can be stacked and taken in 24-hour increments.

  • Your malpractice coverage will be paid 100% by Intermountain Health.

  • If you cover a shift in clinic, it will be paid at a rate of $2,168.00 per 8 hours.

What you’ll bring:  

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine  

  • ACGME accredited residency training in OBGYN  

  • Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN  

  • Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one  

  • Federal DEA Registration 

  • BLS certification 

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

$7.25 - $999.99
