Job Description

A Brief Overview:

This position has responsibility of ordering and delivering supplies to appropriate hospital departments in a timely and organized manner. Integral member of the Supply Chain team that will work closely with purchasing, clinical and warehouse teams.

What you will do:

  • Requisitioning of auto stock supplies
  • Transporting and storage of supplies
  • Maintenance of departmental supply areas
  • Maintenance of departmental equipment area
  • Warehouse Maintenance
  • Ensures accuracy of receiving by inputting and reconciling purchase orders
  • Maintains inventory control records
  • Assists shipping/receiving functions
  • Restocking of Nurse Server/Linen cabinets supplies
  • Transporting dirty equipment to SSP for reprocessing


Education Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required


Experience Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one-year relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred


Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as Material Safety Data Sheets, packing lists, delivery tickets, put/pick lists, and operating procedure manuals
  • Ability to maintain a scheduled log
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and staff
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations
  • This job requires computer and systems competency in the following areas: enters data, retrieves data, assembles and organizes data, uses and analyzes data

Compensation:

Hourly Range - $16.00-24.00

Incentives:

Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.

Bonus:

Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.
