Typically:
• An Operations Supervisor manages the plant processes, systems and activities which include production and processing of oils and greases in accordance to lubricant quality systems and application (LQS and ISO standards). Manages assets and HSSE and Quality performance as well as utilities, oil movements and any designated support activities.
• A Production Supervisor manages some activities related to the plant including, but not limited to Ship to Shore operations, Oil Movements, Drum Decanting, VII Dissolving, Blending and Filling and Packaging of Lubricants, ensuring production volumes meet the plan including budget, HSSE, security and environmental targets. Reports into the Production Manager.
• A Warehouse Supervisor manages all warehousing activities in a given geography for components, bulk and packed lubricants, from receipt of components into warehouses, storage and warehouse management, product picking and dispatching, and management of secondary depots. Can include secondary depots and dispatch to customers.
• Additional to supervising others, individual responsibilities are a significant part of the work.
