The Market Manager position provides leadership of the Private Wealth Investment Manager team for the Oklahoma market as a Player-Coach. The Market Manager will manage the Investment Managers who partner with Wealth Advisors and Trust Officers on bank managed discretionary accounts.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will oversee team performance, staffing, and daily operations to ensure effective and compliant account administration.
  • You will manage market risk and maintain key metrics within corporate standards.
  • You will develop department goals, budgets, and staffing plans aligned with market objectives.
  • You will guide the team in achieving sales, client satisfaction, and retention goals.
  • You will build and manage strong client relationships within an assigned portfolio.
  • You will represent the organization through community involvement and professional networking efforts.
  • You will drive wealth management strategies that deliver seamless client service and regulatory compliance.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Finance and 8+ years of Private Wealth & Management, and/or Investment Management, and/or Commercial Banking & Management, and/or Trust Administration & Management, and/or Sales Management experience or 14+ years equivalent work experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of investment management and asset allocation, accounting principles & practices, personal trust accounts, estate planning, taxation, and administrative procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive oral and written reports and presentations; ability to communicate with senior level management, regulators, and executive officers.
  • Proficient in personnel management, leadership ability and team building skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to sell within the financial services industry with extensive negotiating skills.
