Are you looking to apply your strong customer service skills and strengthen relationships with senior business leaders in an impactful way? The Private Lending Services team is looking for a professional who can collaborate with regional lending managers, private lending underwriters, Private Bank Capital Markets, credit, legal and other operations teams to perform critical control functions in a rapidly growing business while delivering an excellent client experience.

In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm’s assets and its reputation. For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that develops the processes and controls that makes business flow.

The Private Lending Services (PLS) team is a high-value control middle office team in PWM operations that supports the PWM Private Bank organization by originating new loans to PWM clients and Private Equity Firms in EMEA and Asia. Additionally, the PLS team ensures clients are in compliance with federal regulations at the time of origination, funding and ongoing maintenance through the life of the loan. The London PLS team is a team of 3 people sitting alongside and working closely with the business to support new loan originations.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Prepare to gain a comprehensive understanding of the private lending organization by interacting with Regional Lending Managers, Private Lending Underwriters, Credit, Legal, Global Client Financing, and other operations teams in the Americas, EMEA and Asia
• Become a subject matter expert in Loans, a complex and evolving financial product.
• Partner with PWM PWAs and WMPS to assist clients in the application, origination and ongoing servicing of loans within the portfolio
• Showcase strong control and risk management strategies to ensure compliance with regional regulations while still providing excellent client service to PWM and Institutional clients
• Develop strategies and opportunities for process efficiencies to reduce manual tasks while increasing control in a rapidly growing business

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven client service skills, teamwork and a sense of urgency to fulfill time sensitive tasks, with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information
• Ability to develop and nurture relationships with senior business leaders within cross divisional teams
• Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability for projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
