🏊‍♂️ Now Hiring: Sun Rays Swim Academy Swim Instructor and/or Lifeguard! 🌞
📍 Location: San Fernando Valley📅 Duration: March-September⏰ Hours: Part-time, Flexible Schedule - Swim Instructor Weekdays 15-30 hours a week, Lifeguard Weekends 3-10 hours a week💰 Pay: Independent Contractor,
$26 per 30 min. individual class (add ons $ for group classes or classes that are longer than 30 min.)
$26 per hour for Lifeguarding

We are looking for swim instructors and lifeguards who are able to travel to our clients' homes to provide high quality swim classes and pool party safety! We are looking for individuals who are motivated, communicative, adaptive and dedicated to be a part of the Sun Rays Swim Academy Team!

The qualifications for our SWIM INSTRUCTOR position include:

• 18 years or older
• Previous Swimming experience. (ex. College swim team, swim coach, swim instructor)
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Class C License and Car. (You will be required to drive to your clients' home to provide private swim lessons.)
• Flexible schedule. (While you can choose your own swim lesson schedule, M-F 3-6pm is the most popular time for swim classes.)
• Interpersonal Skills - (You will be in constant communication with the clients/families/parents, etc.)
• Prior experience with kids (ex. Babysitting, tutoring, daycare assistant) Majority of our students are children from toddlers to preteens! You need to know how to communicate clearly and make swim lessons an awesome environment for them.
• Time management skills. (You are responsible for your own schedule and for the times you agree to teach.)

The qualifications for our LIFEGUARD position include:

• 18 years or older
• 1-2 years Lifeguarding Experience
• Class C License & Car. (You will be required to drive to your clients homes in your area to provide private lifeguarding services.)
• CPR & First Aid Certification.
• Time management skills. (You are responsible for your own schedule and for the times you agree to lifeguard.)
