Private Shopping Host

The Private Shopping Host is responsible for offering a seamless and unrivalled customer journey, achieved the moment our clients walk through our doors, through personalised attention, intuitive and anticipatory service and in-depth knowledge of the breadth of Harrods services.

About the Role

Our Client Experience Team are both our hosts and our ambassadors, welcoming the most discerning clientele to our Private Shopping Suites. First impressions are lasting impressions; therefore, the role of Private Shopping Host is fundamental to the experience curated for our clients.

You will welcome our clients, see them to our hosting lounges, schedule appointments and room booking, manage our front desk, assist visitors in sign in procedures and maintain a clean and organised reception area.

About You

As Private Shopping Host, your ability to thrive under pressure and work with efficiency and pace to successfully manage all customer expectations will be unmatched. Remaining calm and composed, you will deal with challenging situations confidently and in a professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary. You must be a fast learner, as you will need to quickly develop a full understanding of Private Shopping and be able to communicate this to a client when asked.

You will also:

  • Be a team player, with proven experience in team environments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our most discerning clients.
  • Be able to work with multiple teams, and handle multiple requests, by ensuring organisation.
  • Be able to work under pressure, by handling inquiries and provide accurate information about services, facilities and events.
  • Be friendly, approachable and have a customer oriented attitude.
