🏡 Seeking Compassionate Home Health Aide in Troy, MI 💖

💵 Pay Range: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience and case needs
🕒 4 days a week (Flexible days) 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

🏡 About the Client

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Home Health Aide to provide essential care for a wonderful 76-year-old female client residing in her home in Troy, MI

Our client is recovering from a hip fracture. She is mobile and occasionally uses a walker for assistance She requires reliable, ongoing support to maintain her well-being and progress through her rehabilitation..

✨ Client Needs and Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the aide will include:

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Providing respectful assistance with personal care, dressing, hygiene, and other daily needs.

• Stand-by Assistance/Gait Assistance: Providing support and supervision during ambulation and transfers, ensuring safety, especially when using the walker.

• Appointment Assistance & Transportation: Safely accompanying the client to and from her important therapy and medical appointments. Reliable personal transportation is required.

🗓️ Shift Requirements:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday.
• Commitment: Candidates must be available for a minimum of 4 ongoing days within the Monday-Friday schedule. Specific daily shift times will be discussed during the interview process.

📋 Essential Qualifications:

To ensure the highest quality of care and safety, all applicants must possess the following:

• Current CPR Certification.
• Recent Negative TB Test Result.
• Valid Auto Insurance with the applicant's name listed on the policy (for transportation duties).
• Reliable Transportation.

Centria caregivers provide essential in-home support to help individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent. You’ll work one-on-one with clients in a private home setting, supporting their unique care needs.

✅ Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent falls
• Provide basic personal care, including hygiene, toileting, and dressing
• Monitor and assist with oxygen therapy as needed
• Prepare light snacks or drinks upon request
• Offer companionship and emotional reassurance throughout the shift
• Assist in positioning and turning to prevent discomfort
• Document and report changes in client condition promptly
• Respond to emergencies following proper procedures
• Perform duties as outlined in the patient’s plan of care
• Monitor client’s physical and mental condition, intake/output, and exercise
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy care environment
• Follow professional standards, care policies, and local/state/federal requirements

📝 Qualifications

• CNA, HHA, or equivalent experience in home care preferred
• Experience working with fall-risk and mobility-impaired clients strongly desired
• Must be comfortable assisting with personal care tasks
• Reliable, patient, and attentive to individual needs
• Comfortable working in a private home setting
• Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Comfortable using tablets/computers for documentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow all care protocols
• Ability to address minor medical concerns as they arise
