Private Duty Caregiver CHHA or CNA | Indianapolis, IN | $19.75/hr

Private In-Home Care | $19.75 per Hour

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Caregiver or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a private-duty home care opportunity in Indianapolis, IN.

This is a one-on-one position for someone who enjoys working directly with an individual client rather than caring for multiple residents in a facility. You'll provide personalized support that helps the client remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

CNA certification is preferred, but experienced caregivers are strongly encouraged to apply.

Pay

• $19.75 per hour

• Private-duty home care assignment

• Consistent scheduled hours based on client needs

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide one-on-one care in the client's home

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs

• Help with mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home

• Prepare meals and snacks

• Provide companionship and conversation

• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry

• Provide medication reminders

• Assist with errands and grocery shopping when needed

• Support the client's normal daily routines and independence

• Observe and communicate changes in the client's needs or condition

What We're Looking For

• CNA certification preferred

• Experienced caregivers without CNA certification are encouraged to apply

• Previous private-duty, home care, senior care, assisted living, or personal care experience is a plus

• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care

• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent schedule

• Compassionate, patient, and respectful

• Strong communication skills

• Comfortable working independently in a client's home

• Ability to complete required background and pre-employment screenings
