A well-established and highly regarded law firm with a long history of providing exceptional legal services along the South Coast and surrounding areas. With a culture built on trust, continuity, and client care, now looking to welcome a new Legal Assistant to their friendly and busy Private Client team in Fareham.
About the Role:
You'll play a key part in the daily operations of our Private Client department, supporting solicitors and fee earners in delivering high-quality service across a broad spectrum of matters including wills, probate, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney.
What You'll Be Doing:
Providing administrative and secretarial support to legal staff
Audio typing and document production from digital dictation
Managing client onboarding and compliance processes
Opening and closing client files and maintaining accurate records
Diary and appointment management
Handling telephone calls and liaising with clients and third parties
Assisting with general office duties as part of the wider team
What Were Looking For:
Experience in a legal support role within Private Client
Excellent communication skills and a professional manner
Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organised under pressure
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
A client-focused approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude
