To assess the integrity and effectiveness of the banks internal control framework to support the mitigation of risk and protection of the banks operational, financial, and reputational risk.

Join us as a Financial Crime Risk Manager working within our Private Bank and Wealth Management team based in Geneva.
The successful candidate will be working directly to support the Head of PB International Financial Crime Risk, providing expert support to the business in a number of areas. This will include supporting Front Office throughout the client lifecycle (from onboarding to exit), supporting the control environment through risk and issue management, governance reporting and management escalations, supporting audit and assurance activities, managing stakeholders in location/beyond, as well as support strategic initiatives. To be successful in this role you must be able to show resilience, flexibility and demonstrate a strategic mindset while building a comprehensive view of the business and interlinked controls.
The role will be suitable for someone with a strong Financial Crime or Risk and Controls background with recent working experience in Geneva, with comparable Private Bank business knowledge also highly desirable. An ability to take responsibility and accountability for decision making evidenced through clear reporting and communication in order to manage risk, strengthen controls and support the business in achieving strategic goals will be required. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with a variety of stakeholders at all corporate grades will also be desirable, including building relationships with key functional teams. This role offers flexibility and a dynamic portfolio of work covering multiple aspects of the PBWM business through the lens of Financial Crime Risk support.
The role may also include people leadership responsibility, with the successful candidate expected to support local team members in location and across the Global teams through direct engagement and feedback, assisting the Head of PB International Financial Crime Risk as required.
