This role sits within the Billing Strategy organization, which supports operational excellence and reimbursement optimization across the company’s growing product portfolio.

We are seeking a Prior Authorization Strategy & Analytics Analyst to support operational analytics and reporting initiatives across Natera’s Prior Authorization function.This role combines technical analytics capabilities with operational partnership. The ideal candidate will work closely with business leaders to develop dashboards, build KPI reporting, conduct ad hoc analyses, and support operational decision-making.This is a highly collaborative role suited for candidates who enjoy solving operational problems through analytics and data enablement.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Prior Authorization leadership to develop operational reporting and KPI frameworks
  • Build dashboards, reports, and performance tracking tools
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to support operational analytics initiatives
  • Create and maintain views and datasets within Snowflake
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business decisions and operational improvement initiatives
  • Identify trends, workflow gaps, and performance opportunities through data analysis
  • Translate operational needs into scalable reporting solutions
  • Support process improvement and operational optimization initiatives
  • Ensure data accuracy and usability across reporting workflows

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in:
    • Healthcare Analytics
    • Operational Analytics
    • Revenue Cycle Analytics
    • Business Intelligence
    • Prior Authorization Analytics
  • Advanced SQL proficiency
  • Experience building dashboards and KPI reporting
  • Experience working with Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to partner effectively with operational stakeholders
  • Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle workflows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Authorization operational experience
  • Experience supporting healthcare operations teams
  • Familiarity with denials management and reimbursement workflows
  • Exposure to AI-assisted analytics tools or modern analytics environments
  • Experience in diagnostics, laboratory, or specialty healthcare organizations

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
