Staff Non-exemptThe Printing Technician is responsible for setting up, adjusting, monitoring, operating, and maintaining a variety of networked digital production imaging systems, including both black-and-white and full-color equipment. Responsibilities include managing the total throughput of duplicating and digital printing jobs received through the campus network in a variety of formats. This position determines the most effective methods for producing high-quality images by utilizing both software and hardware tools to meet the specifications outlined on job tickets, and by evaluating color accuracy and print quality.
Job Duties:
Reports to Printing Production Team Leader
On-campus
Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
Operates, sets-up, adjusts, and maintains a wide variety of networked digital production imaging systems
Operates various pieces of binding, finishing, and ancillary production equipment on a daily basis.
Maintains a computer-based storage and retrieval system for digital imaging files.

Minimum Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED
· Up to 1 year of related experience in print production
Preferred Qualifications
· Associate’s Degree in Print Production or a related field
· 2 years of experience in print production
● Ability to routinely lift packages up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 125 pounds, with mechanical assistance or help.
● Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.
● Must be able to tolerate exposure to noise, dust, and fumes, and use personal protective equipment as required.
● Must possess adequate vision to make judgments concerning the overall quality of finished products.

18.40-23.00
The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.
This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship, all candidates must be authorized to work in the US without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.
