Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Printing Press Operator for the 2nd shift to join our team in Townsend, MA. This role focuses on the hands-on operation and maintenance of high-speed printing presses in a dynamic production environment.

The Printing Press Operator is responsible for operating and manually setting up multi-color sheet-fed or continuous/web presses during the 2nd shift. You will ensure smooth press operations, maintain quality standards, and perform necessary adjustments and troubleshooting to meet production goals.

• LOCATION: Townsend, MA 01469
• POSITION: Contract
• SCHEDULE: 2nd Shift – 3:00pm to 11:00pm
• PAY RATE: $23.00 hour

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-color sheet-fed or continuous/web presses, primarily running custom or base forms work or high-speed single-color continuous/web presses.
• Perform manual setups and changeovers including loading stock, setting paper path and stretch, mounting plates, and mixing inks.
• Adjust ink and water balance, ensure color matching, and maintain accurate register and required print attributes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform blanket changes, clean units, and adjust roller settings as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from the team manager to meet quality and service commitments.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of printing experience.

Work Environment

• Work is performed on the 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm.
• Position is based in Townsend, Massachusetts.
