The Finishing Associate helps with finishing and mail processing equipment for the company’s in-house print shop includes setting up and monitoring equipment, as well as quality checking the finished products. This role is responsible for high-quality, on-time work with accurate piece counts for fulfillment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, and motivated to complete tasks efficiently in a high-volume fulfillment environment. This position is onsite at our Richardson, TX location.
Key Responsibilities:
· Complete non-automated work such as hand inserting and metering mail.
· Set up and operate finishing and mail processing equipment.
· Read and interpret job tickets to determine the type of work to be done, the quantities to be produced, and the materials needed.
· Prepare mail for delivery to post office and/or third-party delivery services with correct labels and packaging.
· Complete jobs in priority order while ensuring adherence to turnaround times, deadlines, and service levels.
· Continually monitor quality and equipment to ensure proper operation.
· Follow quality control standards.
· Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
· Provide a high-level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with vendors and team members.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
· 1+ years of experience in print production or in-house fulfillment operation.
· Ability to manage competing priorities, tight deadlines, and fluctuating demand with calm competence.
· Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to emerging technologies.
Physical / Environmental Requirements
· Ability to stand for extended periods and move materials/equipment as needed (reasonable accommodations available).
· Ability to lift, up to 50 pounds, and move supplies around the building.
· Comfortable working in a production environment with printers, finishing equipment, and shipping supplies.
· May be required to cover some shifts on occasion that are outside normal business hours.
