Position Summary
The GOEX Print Shop Assistant plays a key support role within the production team, working closely with the Print Production Manager and press operators to ensure efficient, high-quality output. This position is responsible for preparing materials, supporting press setup and breakdown, maintaining organized and clean workspaces, and monitoring production runs to help maximize productivity. The Printers’ Assistant contributes to a smooth production workflow by assisting with screen preparation, ink mixing, equipment cleaning, and quality checks, while stepping in as needed to support shirt catching and other assigned duties. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative approach to meet daily production goals.
Your Responsibilities Include
- Assist with screen prep as needed.
- Prepare/Procure ink for each job to include custom mixing when necessary
- Aid press operators in set up and tear down of jobs
- Scrape screens and clean squeegees
- Keep press areas clean and organized
- Keep ink room clean and organized
- Help monitor jobs while running checking ink and watching for problems
- Offload or catch shirts when all other duties are complete or as assigned
- Performs other job duties as assigned.

QualificationsKnowledge and Skills, You Bring to the Organization
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence, customer service, and teamwork in a production-driven environment.
- Previous experience working in a screen print shop is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain quality standards throughout the production process.
- Self-starter who requires minimal supervision proactively identifies ways to assist and contribute without needing constant direction.
- Diligent and dependable, consistently completing tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintains courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with associates at all levels of the organization.
- Prioritizes the best interest of the team, organization, and overall vision over individual preferences.
- Adapts quickly to changing priorities and production needs, while continuously seeking opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.
- Accepts responsibility for actions, projects, and results, showing accountability in daily work.
- Willingly ask questions when clarification is needed and takes initiative to seek out answers.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including exposure to varying temperatures and humidity.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts, etc.)
- Manual dexterity to handle products and materials with accuracy and care.
