Print Production & Mailroom Operator

Responsibilities:
General responsibilities
• Ensure customer issues and escalations are resolved or further escalated as appropriate.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure accuracy and required output meets established standards.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
• Perform backfill duties for absent coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
• Order and replenish consumables, forms inventory, and other supply items as required.
Print responsibilities
• Process job requests received through email, phone, or in person.
• Operate color, black-and-white print, and finishing equipment.
• Schedule print work to meet deadlines and adjust priorities as required.
• Communicate with customers regarding print-related issues.
• Maintain equipment in working condition by arranging service and replacing toner and other consumables.
• Maintain an organized and tidy print shop.
• Develop knowledge of print production to recommend appropriate production methods.
• Track print work information as required.
Mail responsibilities
• Sort incoming mail.
• Distribute mail to appropriate recipients or departments through mail runs and as required.
• Maintain records of incoming mail and courier activity.
• Ensure delivery of outgoing mail to couriers and the post office.
• Maintain adequate mailroom supplies.
• Check postal rates and weigh outgoing mail.
• Process outgoing courier shipments.
• Arrange local courier services for package deliveries.
• Manage and organize office supplies.
