Job Description

emergiTEL is hiring a Print Production Associate Level 2 This is a Contract role for 6 months.
Pay:                 $16.80 - $21.00/hour
Location:         Richmond, BC

(English)
  • Responsible for print production, mainframe printing services, and document insertion operations at a customer location.
  • Ensure production quality standards are met and customer requirements are fulfilled.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support production workflows.
  • Valid driver's license required. Candidate must be comfortable driving in Richmond and Vancouver as a backup delivery driver.
Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work with the Lead Print Operator to review production schedules.
  • Determine output and production requirements.
  • Perform document setup and manipulation as required.
  • Review and approve proofs to ensure quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Insert multiple documents into envelopes.
  • Program jobs into insertion equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and minor repairs in high-frequency service areas to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Maintain production equipment and replenish supplies.
  • Monitor and manage supply inventory levels.
  • Provide backup support for processing Loomis deliveries.
  • Act as backup to the regular delivery driver.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience with the following equipment and software is considered an asset:
    • Xerox PrimeLink Printers
    • FreeFlow
    • Bell & Howell Insertion Equipment
    • NeoPost/Quadient Mail Machine
    • Pitney Bowes Insertion Machine
Required Skills
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to operate large centralized digital print equipment.
  • Ability to identify production inconsistencies and quality issues.
  • Proficiency with PC applications in a networked environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Experience
  • Experience working in a print production environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Education
  • Post-secondary technology training or equivalent experience.
  • Specialized training or education as required.
