About the Role

In this position, you will drive RFQ input from EMC perspective, mentoring and training EMC team members in technical aspects of EMC as well as driving project execution and troubleshooting both inside Harman and towards customers.


What You Will Do

  • Responsible for EMC RFQ activities by preparing requirement assessments, technical concepts and cost estimations for effort and equipment.
  • Lead implementation of new EMC test methods and equipment to the Lab from technical side.
  • Responsible for technical mentoring and training of the EMC team and other technical experts.
  • Analyze new international and OEM EMC standards, define impact and drive technical implementation to comply with these standards.
  • Create test plans and review test.
  • Align expectations with customers and support with technical knowledge in project escalations.
  • Work closely with the team to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Support Customer Reliability Manager with scheduling input, technical risk assessment and other technical project requests.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent is minimum requirement; advanced engineering degree with a focus in EMC preferred
  • 10+ years EMC qualification or related experience in Automotive Industry
  • In-depth understanding of EMC standards and test methods
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced EMC and test solutions knowledge is required
  • Supervisory experience is preferred
  • EMC Lab accreditation experience is preferred
  • Business Fluent in English
